I am the Founder of Zimele by the Youth. The summer after my freshman year, I had the opportunity to visit South Africa to see the work of Zimele first hand. I had been supporting the organization for many years, but it wasn’t until then that I realized how truly special and unique Zimele’s work is. The communities I interacted with in South Africa were filled with more hope and joy than I’d ever seen, despite the poverty that surrounded them. Through Zimele by the Youth, I hope that my peers can also experience the incredible work of Zimele and join me in building it up.

Outside of my Zimele involvement, I like to dance and spend time with family and friends. I’m also a huge foodie and love traveling. Right now, I really want to visit Italy!
